TERMS & CONDITIONS

In the spirit of good practise, when you are purchasing coaching, consultation, or training services from me (Laura Alliss) I ask you to confirm that you have read and agreed to each statement below and that you wish to proceed.

THE COACHING RELATIONSHIP:

Coaching is an ongoing relationship between a coach and a client. Coaching is a structure that facilitates the process of personal and professional progress. Coaching aims to improve individual performance and motivation through one-to-one discussions. The process aims to inspire the client to maximize personal and professional potential.  It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals. Success is largely determined by you the Client doing the work, committing to the objectives and outcomes agreed with the coach at the outset.  It is therefore imperative that objectives originate or are thoroughly endorsed by you.  If there is a line manager or other organisational sponsor, they will play an important role supporting you, the Client to achieve their objectives. It is recommended that the sponsor, if there is one, The Client and coach agree the objectives of the coaching agreement and the desired outcomes at the outset of the engagement.

Because progress and change happen at rates that are unique to each individual, the Coach and Client commit to working with each other for an initial 3 month period. This allows the coaching relationship necessary time to develop and progress through objectives, obstacles and successes that occur.

Coaching is for individuals who are emotionally and psychologically healthy and who want to make changes and move forward in their lives. Coaching is not advice, therapy or counselling.

Laura the Coach and Consultant, is continually striving to ensure the standard of service she provides to her clients remains excellent. At the end of the services provided, the client will be asked to complete a Feedback form, and where appropriate a LinkedIn and Google review.

GUARANTEES:

The results you achieve, depend very much on you and your engagement, openness, effort and time investment in the process. Each client I work with is very different and so are the results achieved, so it would be irresponsible to offer you guarantees.

You the client are responsible for your own success.  Laura Alliss, the coach cannot guarantee that you will take specific action or attain specific goals. Measure for success can be identified by the sponsor or yourself and agreed with me Laura Alliss at the beginning of the engagement.  Any criteria established will be reviewed at intervals agreed by all parties.

I do however consistently help clients achieve tangible results. Such as desired salary increases, lateral job moves, strong influence and impact in a new role, greater courage and confidence, higher productivity, workload management, improved relationships, improved stress etc…

PAYMENT:

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by my company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by my store and its service providers.

For individuals – I take online payments for all major credit cards via the payment processor Stripe which is handled via Wix (a 1.9% Admin fee is charged). Or a direct bank transfer which can be discussed and agreed upon.

For companies – I take payment by bank transfer and ask for payment upfront, unless it’s for long term team projects or is agreed upon.

To hold your first session, I require payment 5 working days in advance. Until payment has been received, I can’t start your coaching journey.

INSTALLMENT PLANS:

I operate instalment plans through our secure payment system via Wix known as Stripe. The minimum payment is £500 per month.  It works as a monthly direct debit from your bank account and over the duration of your coaching programme, usually over 3 months.

An admin fee of 1.9% after your first initial payment, per instalment does apply to all instalment plans.

Any changes in the frequency of your coaching, will not affect the instalment amount and frequency agreed at the outset of your coaching programme. In exceptional situations, I can discuss reworking the plan if required.

CANCELATION / POSTPONEMENT:

You may cancel or change your coaching session up to 48 hours prior to that session’s start time.

Cancelling or postponing within 48 hours of your next session will result in you losing the cost and benefits of that session.

IMPORTANT – Please always give 48 hours’ notice if changing your session times to avoid losing the value of your session. I love being flexible and working around your schedule, however, if inadequate time is given (less than 48 hours’ notice), I am left with an empty slot that could have been filled, with a loss to my business and inconvenience.

DESIRED RESULTS ACHIEVED:

If you achieve results and transformation much sooner than anticipated, you can continue using the remainder of your coaching sessions (within the timeframe detailed below).  I would not refund you for the remainder should you choose to terminate your coaching programme.

ADDITIONAL SESSIONS:

We can upgrade in rounds of 3 sessions.

TIME:

I make a commitment to start and finish each session on time. If you are more than 20 minutes late for the session I will assume the session is cancelled and you will forfeit the session fee.

To get the most from your coaching experience, I advise you come 15 minutes early to every session to prepare and ground yourself to get the most from that session.

FREQUENCY & EXPIRY:

For best results, it is recommended to organise weekly to twice monthly sessions.

Keeping momentum is key to the success of your coaching, which is why frequent sessions are important to the results you achieve.

I require you to use a minimum of 1 session per month, please be aware that if you are not seeing me your coach regularly, you cannot achieve the results as effectively.

Remaining coaching sessions expire if unused after 6 months. This is entirely avoidable by promptly using your coaching sessions within the agreed time.

Your Coaching programme sessions will expire if not used in the timeframe below - this serves you ultimately to ensure you maximise the approach which requires a steady pace and retains valuable momentum which takes time to build up, if lost.

TIMEFRAME:

  • For 6 coaching sessions normally attended across 3 months – after 6 months from purchase, the sessions will expire.

  • If purchased more than 6 sessions, after 12 months, the sessions will expire.

For extra time, please consult with me.

CONFIDENTIALITY:

I agree to keep the details of all conversations with you private and confidential. Whilst not legally binding, it is offered as a genuine and firm commitment by me to gain the trust of you the client.

Feedback may be provided to the sponsor or organisation provided agreement is reached at the outset of the work and is explicit as to what broad information will be shared in terms of goal and progress between all parties.

For the purpose of development and quality control.  I do keep notes of each session on a tracker and each client’s progress which is sometimes shared with an accredited Executive Coaching Supervisor for feedback and quality control.   Additionally, I may seek expressed permission from you for a supervisor to review a session in person or via a recording.

During the coaching assignment, if anything arises that suggests you would benefit from alternate and/or specialist support, I will signpost that requirement to you and any Relevant Parties.

DATA PROTECTION:

To comply with GDPR, after 6 months from the termination of the coaching program the data will be held for a period no longer than 6 months and, at that point, destroyed where hed in electronic or paper form.

ORGANISATION PAYING:

As required by the organisation, I will report any missed sessions, repeated failures to complete agreed tasks or lack of engagement in the coaching process.
